Chris Flahaven

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I’ve had a lifelong passion for the ocean and the outdoors. Now living with my wife in Chester, CT. I pass these passions to our young children as we work our garden, fish frequently in the rivers and shores of New England, harvest fresh eggs from our chickens and cook feasts in our home-built wood fired oven. Having a culinary degree from New England Culinary Institute, connections with local organic farmers and fishermen, and as an executive chef at the River Tavern (with a daily changing menu), I get to share my experience and passions with people everyday.
