Clean Spring Cooking Class with Terry Walters

After a great evening with us in March, Terry Walters returns to the Upstairs Kitchen in Chester! Come participate in our “Clean Spring Cooking Class” filled with camaraderie and conversation. The highlight of the night will be sharing a meal of everything we’ve prepared! The Clean Spring Cooking Class will include six seasonal and organic recipes taught in a hands-on kitchen, featuring tons of information about the health benefits of the different foods and techniques used.

Here’s what we’ll be preparing May 12th:

  • Lettuce Cups with Ginger Peanut Tofu (appetizer)
  • Apricot Millet with Shallots, Sage and Sunflower Seeds
  • Grilled Vidalia Onions with Wild Mushrooms and Lemon Zest Curry Tempeh Salad
  • Fiddleheads with Garlic and Hot Pepper Flakes or Arugula and Mint Salad with
  • Roasted Rhubarb and Lemon Maple Dressing

  • Peach Rhubarb Crisp with Pecan Topping
